Quick answer

Our free online bingo caller draws 75-ball (B1 to O75) or 90-ball numbers at random with no repeats. Press Call or the space bar for each ball, or switch on auto-call. It can read calls aloud, shows the last five balls and a full board, checks a player’s card, and goes full screen for a TV or projector.

How do I use the online bingo caller?

Press Call first ball and keep going until someone shouts "Bingo!". Everything runs in your browser, with no app or account.

  1. Pick the game and pattern. Choose 75-ball or 90-ball, then the pattern you’re playing so everyone can see it on screen.
  2. Call the first ball. Press Call first ball, or press the space bar or Enter. The ball, its letter and the board update instantly.
  3. Keep calling. Call each ball by hand or switch on auto-call and set a speed between 2 and 20 seconds. Pause it any time.
  4. Check a winner. When a player calls bingo, type the numbers on their card into Check a card to see which have been called.
  5. Start a new game. Press New game (reset) and confirm to clear the board for the next round.

Need cards for the game? Print a set from our bingo card generator, which matches this caller’s 75-ball and 90-ball formats and prints a calling sheet as a paper backup.

How fast should you call bingo numbers?

Slower is better for most home and community games. A pace of one ball every 8 to 12 seconds lets players with several cards keep up, and halls with experienced players often go faster.

  • Kids and beginners: 12–15 seconds, and say the number twice.
  • Seniors and mixed groups: 8–12 seconds, with voice on and the board on a TV.
  • Experienced players: 4–6 seconds per ball.

Call the letter and number together ("B 7") so players look in the right column. Many callers repeat the digits ("B 7, seven") and use traditional nicknames; see our guide to bingo calls and slang for the classics. Announce the pattern before each game, too. Our bingo patterns pages show every common shape, from a single line to blackout.

How do you check a bingo winner?

Pause the game, have the player read their marked numbers aloud, and confirm each one has been called. The Check a card box does this for you: type the numbers and it shows each as called (green) or not called.

The full board also helps. Called numbers light up in pink, and the most recent ball has a dark outline. Use Undo last call if you pressed the button by mistake before anyone marked it.

How does 90-ball mode work?

Switch the game type to 90-ball to call numbers 1 to 90, the format used in UK halls. Players win for one line, two lines and then a full house on the same ticket. Turn on UK nicknames to hear calls like "Legs eleven" and "Two fat ladies, 88" before each number.

Switching game type starts a fresh game, so finish or reset the current one first.

Frequently asked questions

Is this online bingo caller really random?

Yes. Each ball is picked from the numbers not yet called using your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, so every remaining number has an equal chance and no number can come up twice.

Can the bingo caller read the numbers out loud?

Yes. Tick "Read calls out loud" and the caller speaks each ball, such as "B. 7.", using the voice built into your phone, tablet or computer. Turn the device volume up or connect a speaker for a room.

What happens if I close the page in the middle of a game?

The game is saved in your browser, so reopening the page on the same device and browser brings back every called number. Private or incognito windows may not keep it.

How do I show the bingo caller on a TV?

Open this page on a laptop connected to the TV by HDMI, or cast the browser tab, then press "Full screen / TV mode". The ball and board fill the screen and you can keep calling with the space bar.

How many numbers are called in an average bingo game?

It depends on the pattern and how many cards are playing. In our calculations, a single 75-ball card needs about 42 calls for a line, but with 50 cards in play someone usually has a line by about the 19th call.
