Free Printable Gender Reveal Bingo Cards (Boy or Girl?)

Quick answer

Gender reveal bingo keeps guests entertained before the big moment. Each guest gets a card with baby and reveal words like "Pink", "Blue", "Heartbeat" and "Ultrasound". The host draws words from a jar, guests mark matches, and the first to complete a line wins. Many hosts play the final round as a blackout that ends right before the reveal.

45 unique words. Each card uses 24. More words means more varied cards.

Every card shows an ID like START-001. Enter the same set code with the same settings to rebuild the exact same cards and check a winner.

The hardest part of a gender reveal party is the waiting. Guests arrive, eat, place their guesses and then stand around until the cake is cut or the balloon box opens. A round or two of gender reveal bingo fills that time and gets everyone talking about the baby.

How do you play gender reveal bingo?

It is a classic called game with baby and pregnancy words. The host draws, guests mark, and five in a row wins.

  1. Give each guest a card and a pink or blue marker (their guess, if you like).
  2. Cut the calling list at the bottom of this page into slips and put them in a baby bottle, jar or bootie.
  3. The parents-to-be take turns drawing and reading words aloud.
  4. Guests mark matching squares. The center square is free.
  5. The first guest to complete a row, column or diagonal yells “Bingo!” and gets a prize.

Because there are no gifts to open, this version needs a caller. That job is perfect for an older sibling-to-be.

How many cards do you need for a gender reveal?

Plan one card per guest, including kids who can read, plus a few spares. For a backyard party of 30, print 35. Set the number in the generator above and print. Each card is shuffled differently, so you will rarely get two winners on the same call.

Make the reveal part of the game

  • Team cards. Before playing, guests write their guess on the back. After the reveal, anyone on the correct team with a bingo during the game gets a second prize.
  • Blackout to the reveal. Play the last round as a blackout. When the first player fills the whole card, it is time to cut the cake or pop the balloon.
  • Mystery square. Leave “Boy” and “Girl” out of the calling jar. After the reveal, call the right one. If it completes a line, that guest wins the grand prize.

Tips for hosts

  • Keep rounds quick. Gender reveals are often short events. Two single-line rounds of about 8 to 10 minutes each are plenty.
  • Use color for fun. Ask guests to mark with pink or blue daubers based on their guess. When the game is over, the card itself shows which team they were on.
  • Include the old wives’ tales. Words like “Ring Test”, “Cravings” and “Bump” spark conversations about who predicted what.
  • Kids can play too. The words are simple enough for early readers, especially with a parent helping.

Prize ideas

Gender reveal prizes can be playful: pink and blue candy jars, mini cupcakes, scented candles or small succulents in pastel pots. For kids, stickers and bubbles in the theme colors. Browse more options in our bingo prize ideas guide.

Frequently asked questions

When should you play bingo at a gender reveal party?

Play while guests arrive and eat, before the reveal itself. It fills the waiting time and builds anticipation without stealing attention from the big moment.

How do you combine gender reveal bingo with voting?

Have guests write "Team Pink" or "Team Blue" on the back of their card. After the reveal, draw one winning card from the correct team for a bonus prize.

Is gender reveal bingo the same as baby shower bingo?

No. Baby shower bingo is played while gifts are opened. Gender reveal bingo is a called game with words about pregnancy and the reveal, since there usually are no gifts.
